
Shereen Abdallah FRSA is an Egyptian born, Glasgow raised pharmacist-poet, who published her first collection ‘Sky Trees’ under her Leslie Road Press, (now Bonnie Braw Press), in 2017. She has also completed her first play, ‘Displacement’ which was performed as a rehearsed reading at The Cockpit Theatre, London in 2019.
Shereen has been most fortunate to study/attend masterclasses with a number of talented writers at City Lit, Birkbeck (Creative Writing Certificate) and Arvon including Dennis Evans, Liane Strauss, Mary Flanagan, Zoë Fairbairns Ella Frears, Nikita Gill, Jennifer Wong, Helen Cox, Colette Paul, Sophia Thakur, Brian Mullin (playwriting) and Jonathan Barnes. She has also taken directing courses with Laura Baggeley and Simon Bowen, (City Lit).
Her poems have been published in N2 Poetry, South Bank Poetry and The Archer, and performed at The Shunt. She is managing editor of N2 Poetry and other creative pursuits include acting and directing with Hampstead Players, and playing the violin in London String Groups.
